The chef greets me with my own first name upon entering, that alone is worth the 5 stars! The food was a culinary delight. You can taste that everything is cooked for you with great care and that every ingredient is fresh and of high class. The cuisine is partly experimental and you have to love that, although you can also order a schnitzel. In short, a very pleasant surprise!

Highly Recommended! The kitchen is run with dedication. Love for handicraft can be seen in the food. The fries are homemade and the meat quality is impeccable. The cook takes time for the guests when he has them and brings the "greeting from the kitchen" personally to the table, which was a culinary dream. When we are close again we will see each other again, thank you very much!

Rarely have I walked out of a restaurant so satisfied. We were with the family in the "Silva Nigra" today and from the kids to the grandma were all thrilled. In a warm atmosphere we were served delicious food by a great and courteous service. The greeting from the kitchen was already mouth-watering, the main courses throughout delicious (finally a chef who tastes good) and the whole thing at fair prices. The ambience is not over-confident and one feels also very casual. Highly recommended for families with children. All (!) Dishes of the card are also available as a children's plate and there is a generous play area. Great! We are all looking forward to next time ...

I spent the mid-August holidays with my family and we also enjoyed Peter's cooking. Apartments very nice and clean, cozy and well equipped. It is located a stone's throw from the center, reachable thanks to a pleasant pedestrian promenade. Located near many attractions and cities such as Stuttgart, Basel, Freiburg etc. Below the apartments is the restaurant, the centerpiece of Silva Nigra. The dishes are very well presented and the quality is of the highest quality. The dishes are all made with local and homemade products. In addition to the arrangement, with pleasant surprise, each time a refined and always different entreé was served. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back for the kindness and warm welcome of managers Peter and Anita.

We had a culinary highlight and the two for 77 euros which is a HAMMER value for money. You can tell that here with a lot of love and passion is cooked. The quality of the food is far above the German standard. It is processed only regional goods and the meat comes only from welfare. The map depends on what is currently available on regional offers. All around I can only speak for myself personally but that was the best meal I have ever had in the German room. Also the service / chef were absolutely friendly patient and accommodating we felt the whole evening at home and very welcome. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Very friendly staff / owners. Top kitchen. Danger! Reserve in good time. I ate Iberiko pork. Was good juicy. The side dish was a bit salty but not pleasant. A bit more vegetarian food on the menu would be good. Greetings to the owner / couple. We would love to come back.

Very friendly, almost family atmosphere. The chef is involved with body and soul, understands and lives delicious food. Even the greeting from the kitchen was a visual and culinary highlight! It was our luck that all places in the main street were closed at 7:30pm. Silva Nigra was not only open but surprised us with excellent food and hospitality. We can only recommend this place for a very good meal in a friendly clean venue.
